Who we are
Activity Express is a small, independent studio that designs printable learning resources for teachers and homeschool families. Everything we make is sold and delivered through our Teachers Pay Teachers store; this website is our home base, where you can browse every resource, compare them side by side and read practical teaching guides for the skills they practice.
Our background is in two things: educational product design and digital marketing. The first is how we build resources: planning skills in a clear sequence, laying out pages so young learners know exactly what to do, and testing that every page prints cleanly. The second is how we decide what to build: we pay close attention to what teachers search for, what they ask about and where existing resources fall short, and we use that to choose our next resource.
What we make
Our catalog covers Pre-K to 8th grade: no-prep seasonal packets, phonics and early reading, sight words, reading comprehension passages, writing prompts, math centers and games, fact fluency, crafts, STEM challenges, social-emotional learning and teacher tools. Most resources include:
- Two difficulty levels, so one resource works for a whole mixed-ability class
- A ready-made teacher plan, from a five-day plan to a full-year scope and sequence
- Answer keys for every page that has a right answer
- Black-and-white, low-ink pages on US Letter paper
- Original illustrations, drawn for our resources
How we build a resource
Before we design anything, we study the resources teachers already use for that skill: what they include, what reviewers praise and what they wish were different. Then we plan a resource that covers the skill more completely, at the same price or less. Every new resource goes through our quality checklist before it is published: two levels where the skill allows, an answer key for every right-answer page, teacher notes on levels and printing, a name line on every student page, safe print margins and large, readable text for young learners.
