Thanksgiving Class Kindness Wreath: Collaborative Gratitude Craft & Door Decor for K–5
A collaborative K–5 Thanksgiving wreath: 2 wreath sizes, 8 card designs, thankful and kindness writing cards, 24 kindness ideas and a family mini-wreath.
Students learn what a good citizen does at school, at home and in the community, then write about it on leaves for their own Good Citizen Tree. Every tree joins a big class trunk to grow a bulletin board that shows the whole room helping, sharing and telling the truth.

The Good Citizen Tree Craft is a citizenship and character education resource for kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. It gives young students a clear, concrete picture of what being a good citizen looks like, from sharing and helping to listening, following rules, telling the truth, caring for school and working together.
At the center is a hands-on craft. Each child builds a tree with a friendly face and an "I Am a Good Citizen" sign, then adds eight behavior leaves marked with original icons. The leaf writing comes in three levels, so kindergartners can trace words, first and second graders can finish a sentence, and older students can write their own good citizen idea.
A short citizenship mini unit builds the thinking behind the craft. An anchor page introduces the big question, eight picture scenario cards spark reading and discussion, and two cut-and-sort pages ask students to decide whether an action shows good citizenship and whether it happens at home, at school or in the community.
Students then put their learning into words on two differentiated writing pages and a Good Citizen Pledge, and teachers can celebrate progress with Good Citizen awards. A large two-part trunk and a "We Are Growing Good Citizens" banner turn every finished tree into one shared SEL bulletin board.
A 3-day teacher plan, discussion questions and answer keys make the 23-page PDF easy to use for back to school, Constitution Day, Presidents' Day, community helper units, counseling lessons or homeschool.
