The Thanksgiving Class Kindness Wreath is a collaborative gratitude and kindness craft for kindergarten through 5th grade. Each student contributes one card, and together the class assembles a giant wreath for classroom door decor, a hallway bulletin board or a school-wide kindness celebration.
Students choose what goes on their card: something they are thankful for, or a kind act they have done or hope to do. The cards come in eight original fall designs, including a pumpkin, oak leaf, apple, sunflower sign and acorn sign, and each design is offered in five versions.
Writing is differentiated for the full K–5 range. Thankful and kindness cards come with primary lines for K–2 and regular lines for grades 3–5, and Draw-It cards let emerging writers show their idea with a picture. The wreath base comes in a medium size of about 13 inches and a large size of about 20 inches, with numbered pieces, glue tabs and a picture guide.
The SEL side goes beyond the craft. Twenty-four kindness idea cards, a class kindness challenge tracker and a My Kindness Reflection page keep the conversation going, while teacher notes add discussion questions for morning meeting.
A family mini-wreath with a take-home letter carries the project home. The 32-page black-and-white PDF suits Thanksgiving week, November character education, door decorating contests, family engagement nights and homeschool groups.
