Description

This morning work binder for special education gives students in autism support, life skills, self-contained and early childhood classrooms a predictable, hands-on start to the day. It is an interactive hook-and-loop binder with 36 adapted tasks, and every task comes in two levels.

The tasks cover the functional and academic skills many morning routines target: personal information such as name, birthday, address and phone number; calendar skills from days of the week to yesterday, today and tomorrow; weather, temperature and seasons; counting, number order, skip counting, tally marks, shapes, coins and time to the hour; and color words with capital and lowercase letters.

Level 1 Errorless Matching places light gray answer guides inside the matching boxes and adds visual supports and word banks on daily routine pages. Level 2 Independent Recall uses empty boxes, so students show what they remember. Each task includes its own matching pieces in uniform sizes, which keeps prep and storage simple.

Forty-nine tracing pages add fine motor and handwriting practice with lines, shapes, names, letters, numbers, days and months. A setup guide, an 8-week study plan, a visual morning routine checklist and 36 "I Can" skill cards support the routine.

Daily data sheets record prompt levels from independent to physical, a practical help for IEP goals and progress monitoring. Piece bag labels and answer keys are included in the 188-page black and white PDF.
