Gobble & Pie Centers is a set of 16 Thanksgiving math and literacy centers for preschool, Pre-K and kindergarten, built around turkeys, pumpkin pies, feathers and Thanksgiving foods. It gives you two weeks of November rotations with reusable mats and cards.
The eight math centers cover the early number skills young learners need most: counting feathers, sorting pies by size, topping pies, putting a turkey parade in order, building a plate, extending turkey tail patterns, count and clip cards, and a turkey ten frame and twenty frame.
The eight literacy centers focus on letters and sounds. Children write on the pie, search pies for letters, match rhyming turkeys, find letters, clap syllables with a syllable pie, put letters in order with Turkey Trot ABC, match beginning sounds and stamp letters on pies.
Several centers include Level 1 and Level 2 recording sheets with tracing, circling, writing and drawing, so preschoolers and kindergartners can work at the same table. Bonus fine motor pages add tracing paths, cutting practice, a play-dough turkey mat and a pom-pom pie activity.
Sixteen picture direction cards and center bin labels help children work independently, and a two-week study plan, teacher notes and answer keys keep planning simple. The 86 black and white pages fit November literacy and math centers, morning tubs, small groups, special education classrooms and homeschool learning.
